Belfast Unemployed Resource Centre - The Net-Arcs project is an innovative technical ICT training programme that
will prepare 24 unemployed individuals from the Greater Belfast Area for particular
jobs within the ICT sector that have been identified as growth areas |

New Belfast Community Arts Initiative - This project involves the running of a series of five main arts programmes
over a two-year period, incorporating training workshops, and accredited vocational
training opportunities capacity building. |

Farset International – The aim of the project is to successfully market the Farset International
Hostel, maximising its income generation potential, create opportunities for employment;
provide a professional tourist and business amenity in an area of high deprivation
and unemployment and contribute positively to the image and local regeneration
of the area |

Intercomm Enterprises – A social housing project to refurbish 6 houses along the Tigers Bay &
New Lodge interface areas to provide families with affordable housing in their
local areas and to regenerate an otherwise derelict area |

The Orchardville Society - The aim of the project is to maximise the potential for the Orchardville Business
Centre and the Edgecumbe Catering community enterprise projects to increase their
income generation and potential for sustainability. It will also allow further
opportunities to further assess and develop other potential business opportunities
for the Orchardville Society and to create and maintain training for employment
opportunities for people with learning disabilities |

Upper Springfield Development Company – The Learner Support Volunteers Project aims to increase uptake of existing
literacy and numeracy provision through the design and implementation of a training
programme for trainers, who will in turn train a team of volunteers to provide
support for people who are least likely to access, but who are most in need of
literacy training. |

The Vine CentreThe Vine Centre is a purpose-built facility, which has been in operation since
1998, and is situated on the Lower Crumlin Road. It currently offers a range of
services including an after school club, a meeting point for Senior Citizens and
advice for young people on pregnancy, alcohol and drug issues. This project seeks
to develop the childcare facilities within the Vine Centre for up to 34 children. |

Feile an Phobail - The main aim of this project is to provide training and employment opportunities
to a target group of people who have been socially excluded, and have endured
high levels of unemployment. The programme will encourage and support and impart
knowledge, skills and confidence to enable participants to move back into the
labour market or contribute to the community by volunteering |

Avec Solutions – Sustainable Tourism Information Centre - The project will provide local and
regional tourism information as well as a shop and Internet café facility. |
